Himesh Reshammiya has really impressed everyone with his new movie,"Bad Ass Ravi Kumar." This film is so bad that it actually becomes fun to watch. Many viewers found it refreshing to see a movie that mixes serious moments with pure silliness. The film is aware of its absurdity, it doesn't fully embrace the idea of being a comedy about comedies, which makes it a bit less enjoyable. But thanks to Himesh’s writing style we get some surprises. Like a dance battle in the climax with bullets flying all around it’s like the diamond heist scene from Dhoom 2.

Musical Madness

One of the biggest surprises in "Bad Ass Ravi Kumar" is the music. Six songs in one scene lasting 17 to 20 minutes! That’s insane! But it’s just one of the many fun things in the movie. It’s bad—really bad—but it’s a kind of good bad.

A Simple Yet Complex Plot

The plot of "Bad Ass Ravi Kumar" is simple but complex. Ravi Kumar is a constable who keeps getting suspended for his unorthodox methods. The story revolves around a small reel which has big secrets about India and if that reel falls into wrong hands it will be a big problem for the country. Manish Wadhwa plays a Pakistani character who asks Carlos (Prabhu Deva) for help in getting that reel and promises him a big reward in return.

What happens next is a wild series of thefts and exchanges, with the reel changing hands many times. The story takes a confusing turn when Ravi Kumar’s love interest, Laila, ends up with the reel after marrying her widowed sister, Madhu. The ridiculousness of the plot is hard to believe, and the film moves so fast that it’s difficult to keep track of everything going on. A lot of the story focuses on Laila having the reel and only agreeing to give it to Carlos if he gives her a special necklace in return.

Dance Battles and Climax Surprises

In a strange turn of events, while the reel is being checked, the characters decide to have a dance-off. This leads to a climax with some surprising deaths but ends on a happy note. The film also includes a longer appearance by Sunny Leone, who, even though she initially betrays Ravi Kumar, can't help but be attracted to his charm.

Love Triangles and Confusion

The love triangle is a recurring theme in Himesh Reshammiya’s films and “Bad Ass Ravi Kumar” is no exception. Madhu, played by foreign artist Simona Jae, has a crush on Ravi Kumar who likes her back. But Laila, Madhu’s sister also loves Ravi Kumar and gives up on him for her sister. Years later the reel brings all three together and a series of silly events ensue.

The film is so ridiculous that you want to watch it again. Himesh Reshammiya is super impressive and confusing, we’re not sure if he can get even more outrageous. Many are eager to see more of this “expose universe” and are all for Reshammiya to keep exploring this style.

Ravi Kumar is shown as a strong, confident man, and the film includes a patriotic message at the end. One memorable line says, “My India is great,” and it highlights the personal stakes for the characters. The film is a crazy adventure, with Reshammiya putting everything into it—from action scenes to social messages.

An Instant Classic

This starts with Ravi Kumar’s big entry in the trailer and will be etched in your memory for long time. It’s an instant classic with every line a one liner, which will surprise you. The editing is so crazy it’s like watching a cartoon, characters dancing in bright colours, dodging bullets.

“Bad Ass Ravi Kumar” is so bad it’s good. Every scene is so cool it’s like the movie is saying “Look at me I’m cool”. In reality it’s just showing off someones ego with silly jokes and comments about itself. It doesn’t quite realize how ridiculous it is but it recognizes it’s own absurdity and is trying to give you a classic movie experience.

Will it be a cult classic? Who knows? But it’s a classic for sure. It’s so much fun to watch you want to watch it again now. The absurdity is so high you can’t help but enjoy it.

Overall, many viewers have really enjoyed the film, joking that they’re ready to face any consequences for having fun with it. They suggest celebrating as "Bad Ass Day." The scenes stick in their minds, especially the heist sequence where characters pop up from the ground in flashy outfits, making them laugh.

And the best part? Ravi Kumar’s dialogues are truly amazing! Viewers are left wondering where this talent has been all this time. So everyone to check out this unique movie experience and not to overlook its charm.

Be Happy Movie Review: A Missed Opportunity in Execution

“Be Happy” starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nora Fatehi tries to spin a warm tale of dreams, dance and determination but falls flat due to its poor execution. The premise is good but the film doesn’t go into the emotional lives of the characters instead it prioritizes dance sequences and competition like a reality show.
