Crunchyroll Unveils International Release Dates for the Highly Anticipated Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Anime Movie
Hey anime fans around the world, especially those of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba! We’ve got some great news for you as Crunchyroll has finally announced the international release dates for the highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle anime movie. This is a big deal as it’s the climax of the trilogy that’s been going on since 2019.
Release Details
In a press release a few days ago, Crunchyroll announced that Infinity Castle will be released in the US and Canada on September 12, 2025. You’ll be able to watch it in English subbed and dubbed, and in IMAX and other premium large formats. The new trailer that just dropped and it’s so good! Tanjiro and the Hashira getting summoned into the ominous Infinity Castle by Kibutsuji Muzan.

The international release dates for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle are as follows, with additional dates to be announced:
August 14, 2025: Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan.
August 15, 2025: Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam.
August 20, 2025: Philippines.
September 11, 2025: Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America, and many European and Middle Eastern countries.
September 12, 2025: India, Spain, UK and others.
September 17, 2025: Belgium, France, Luxembourg.
September 18, 2025: Moldova.
September 25, 2025: Austria, Germany, Switzerland (German-speaking).

This follows the Japanese release date announcement, which is July 2025, revealed during a special livestream with several voice actors; Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro), Akari Kito (Nezuko), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke), and Toshihiko Seki (Muzan Kibutsuji). During the stream, it was also announced that Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 will be released on Aug 1, 2025, continuing the story from the first game with new gameplay and characters.
The Story of Infinity Castle
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is the final episode of the anime and it’s been super popular and well received. The summary says that Tanjiro Kamado joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his sister Nezuko becomes a demon. As Tanjiro gets stronger and bonds with his friends Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira he fights against the demons along with the elite Hashira, the highest ranked members of the Corps.
In this one, the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira are training for an upcoming battle against the demons. But their plans get ruined when Muzan Kibutsuji attacks the Ubuyashiki Mansion and puts the head of the Demon Slayer Corps in danger. In a twist of events, Tanjiro and the Hashira find themselves in a mysterious place called the Infinity Castle and it’s time for the Demon Slayer Corps to face off against the demons.
The Infinity Castle is a crazy and deadly space that’s Muzan’s base of operations and his minions. It’s a place where the architecture is always changing and the corridors are a maze. It’s going to be a disorienting and deadly battlefield for the heroes. As Tanjiro and his friends go through this hellish landscape, they’ll have to face not only the physical threats of Muzan’s demons but also the psychological ones that come with the castle’s surreal nature.
Anticipation and Future Releases
As the Infinity Castle movie gets closer, it joins a list of upcoming titles from Sony Pictures Entertainment including Mamoru Hosoda’s Scarlet which is set to release winter 2025. Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures have collaborated on previous releases such as Attack on Titan: The Last Attack which had an extended screening period due to high demand and grossed around $2.9 million in North America.
