Chapter 183 of Dandadan: The Fight Begins for Okarun, Eira, and Kinta with New Strange Powers Emerging

After a long time, Dandadan Chapter 183 is here and it’s all about Ken “Okaruna” Takakura and his friends going to rescue Koki Yukishiro and Rin Sawaki. Released on February 25, 2025 in Japan, this chapter sets the stage for an action packed fight against the bad guys.

As the chapter goes on, it seems Okaruna and his team might have arrived too late to save Rin who is already affected by the enemy’s abilities. The story quickly escalates as the team gets split up and each one is facing their own powerful enemy.

Aira's Separation and the Emergence of New Threats

Chapter starts with Okaruna, Aira and Kinta at school and they are met with chaos. Kinta reports a malfunction in the video feed from Koki’s wallet as they enter the gym. Aira senses danger and tells her allies to hold back as Okaruna is powerless right now. But they don’t have time to be cautious, they get hit by a massive attack and are sent flying.

When they get up, they see that their attackers are Bunny and Kur with Jet Booster exoskeletons. This is gonna be a problem for future battles, Okaruna will likely face Bunny and Kinta will face Kur. Meanwhile Aira goes into the gym and is met with a terrible sight: dozens of decapitated bodies, their heads hanging above, it’s a sickening scene.

The heads are old and wrinkly and look like they’re in agony and many of them look the same. Aira is getting more and more confused as she sees a scoreboard with an infinite timer and 3 vs 330 which could also be 00. The cryptic display is so bad that it’s scary and Aira sees a head blowing a whistle.

Aira's Battle Against the Decapitated Bodies

As the bodies come to life and throw their heads at Aira in a series of attacks, she shows off her agility and dodges them. Aira strikes back and hits the bodies but to her surprise they disintegrate and heal instantly. Aira thinks she sees Koki’s powers at work and realizes she can’t win until she finds and defeats the source of this ability.

Through all the chaos Aira is searching for Koki and Rin. When she sees Rin’s head floating nearby, decapitated and unconscious her heart sinks. Mai Kawabanga’s spirit is next to Rin, crying and Aira calls out to her friend as the chapter ends in a cliffhanger.
